Good Chest
Second most common chest. Visually, the Good Chest has a cylindrical lid instead of the flat one the Common Chest has. It can be found most commonly between Campfire levels 2 and 3.
Good Chest Drops:
- • Leather Body: The Leather Body reduces damage players receive.
- • Fuel Canister: The Fuel Canister can be used to fuel the Campfire or to refuel the Flamethrower.
- • Spear: Deal more damage and has more range than other melee weapons.
- • Revolver + Revolver Ammo: Ranged weapon. Can be used to kill Entities from a distance.
- • Bandage: The Bandage heals the player for 50 health. It can also be used to revive players.

Third most common chest. Visually, the Iron Chest has a cylindrical lid and has a metal frame. It can be found in commonly between Campfire levels 3-4.
Iron Chest Drops:
- • Rifle + Ammo: The Rifle is a ranged weapon that requires Rifle Ammo. It has a magazine capacity of 1.
- • Revolver + Revolver Ammo: Ranged weapon. Can be used to kill Entities from a distance.
- • Strong Flashlight: The Strong Flashlight creates more light than the Old Flashlight and stuns The Deer, but must be recharged by standing near the Campfire or contacting Fireflies. It has 100% max capacity.
- • Good Sack: Can store up to 15 items (17 with the Scavenger Class.)
- • Defensive Blueprint Spikes: Places down up to 3 spike walls.
- • Fuel Canister: The Fuel Canister can be used to fuel the Campfire or to refuel the Flamethrower.

The Legendary Chest is an uncommon chest, generally containing higher-end Items. Visually, it is a smooth wooden chest a metal trim and lock. Additionally, it also has gold accents. It can be found in a level 5 campfire.
Legendary Chest Drops:
- • Rifle + Ammo: The Rifle is a ranged weapon that requires Rifle Ammo. It has a magazine capacity of 1.
- • Iron Body: The Iron Body reduces damage players receive.
- • Berry Seeds: Berry Seeds grow Berries throughout the map a day after they are planted.
- • Flower Seeds: Flower Seeds grow Flowers throughout the map a day after they are planted.
- • Chili Seeds: Chili Seeds grow Chili throughout the map a day after they are planted.

Gold Chest
A very rare chest only obtainable from deep within the forest, with very valuable loot. Visually, it is a large wooden chest with a golden trim and lock. It also replaces the Ruby Chest upon being opened. It can be found mostly on the ends of the map, but sometimes it might spawn near the Campfire or at the squid kid's spot.
Gold Chest Drops:
- • Strong Axe: Can be used to chop down large trees in 35 hits and chop small trees in one hit.
- • Iron Body: The Iron Body reduces damage players receive.
- • Defensive Blueprint Barbed Wire: Places down up to 3 barbed wire walls.
- • Strong Flashlight: The Strong Flashlight creates more light than the Old Flashlight and stuns The Deer, but must be recharged by standing near the Campfire or contacting Fireflies. It has 100% max capacity.
- • Giant Sack: The Giant Sack can store up to 25 items (27 with the Scavenger Class).
- • Medkit: The Medkit heals the player for 100 health. It can also be used to revive players.
- • Diamond: An item that is used as currency in the lobby. Diamonds can be used to buy different Classes to help you through your run.
- • Oil Barrel: The Oil Barrel can be used to fuel the Campfire and the Flamethrower.
- • Morningstar: A heavy melee weapon that deals high damage, at the cost of a roughly halved attack rate compared to other melees.
- • Cultist Gem: Can be used to upgrade crafting bench 4 and to build tier 4 crafting structures, and to activate tier 5 crafting structures.
- • Gem of the Forest Fragment: Can be used to craft Gem of the Forest by dragging 4 pieces into eachother. It can then be used to upgrade the crafting bench to level 5 or for crafting items at the Tool Workshop.
Ruby Chest
The rarest chest in the game, most commonly found in the deepest areas of the forest and in the Cultist Stronghold. Upon being opened by a player and giving the player their reward, it will automatically downgrade to a Gold Chest, meaning any other players that find the chest will find it as a Gold Chest, not a Ruby Chest. Players can farm Ruby Chests by repetitively raiding the Cultist Stronghold. It can be found as early as reaching level 2-3 Campfire, but mostly it will spawn at the deeper ends, meaning it spawns at level 6. It can also spawn at the Squid Kid's and Koala Kid's cave. It is guaranteed to spawn once the Cultist Stronghold has been successfully raided. Visually, it is a large black chest made of multiple scales with a red trim and lock.
Ruby Chest Drops:
- • Chainsaw: Use to cut down trees at an extremely fast speed, small trees take 2 hits and large trees take 25 hits, and can be held down unlike the other Axes.
- • Kunai: Can be thrown to damage Entities. Extremely fast throwing rate and high range, whilst being affected by gravity.
- • Riot Shield: When held, reduces all incoming damage.
- • Thorn Body: Armour that damages all enemies on contact, whilst reducing damage taken.
- • Tactical Shotgun: The most powerful ranged weapon in the game, firing a spread of pellets. Uses unique shotgun ammo that's only obtainable through the Ammo Crate.
- • Gem of the Forest Fragment: Can be used to craft Gem of the Forest by dragging 4 pieces into eachother. It can then be used to upgrade the crafting bench to level 5 or for crafting items at the Tool Workshop. This is a guaranteed and additional drop in this chest. This is a bonus item from the Ruby Chest
Diamond Chest
This chest is only obtainable by killing all enemies in the Cultist Stronghold and always drops 5 Diamonds. Visually, it is a large, glowing blue chest with a silver trim and a star-shaped lock.

The bar can be filled even further by taking damage with the Obsidiron Body and Obsidiron Boots. The explosion deals ~50-60 damage to nearby enemies. It also has the same swingrate as the Morningstar, being 1s.
- • Obsidiron Body: The Obsidiron Body reduces damage players receive and creates a small explosion around the player after they take enough damage from enemies to fill a bar. The bar can be filled even further by taking damage with the Obsidiron Boots and attacking with the Obsidiron Hammer. The explosion deals ~50-60 damage to nearby enemies.
Hot Chest
This chest is only obtainable from the Volcanic Biome.
Hot Chest Drops:
- • Crossbow: The Crossbow is a ranged weapon that has unlimited reserve ammo and one shot before reloading. Its arrows start to arch downwards after they travel a certain distance.
- • Wildfire: The Wildfire is a one-time-use throwable that covers a medium-sized area in fire puddles. Enemies that step in the fire puddles will be given the burning effect.
- • Lava Mine Blueprint: The Lava Mine Blueprint places down up to 1 Lava Mine.
- • Sacrifice Totem: The Sacrifice Totem is an item that can be sacrificed to the Volcano for 2 charges.

Its arrows also deal more damage than the normal Crossbow and give enemies the burning effect. It also auto-cooks food on drop.

This chest is only obtainable at the Frog Cave.
Frog Chest Drops:
- • Poison Spear: This weapon is almost like the Spear, but when you hit an entity, they are hit with the poison effect.
- • Poison Armour: Similar to Thorn Body, it can also damage and poison enemies on contact.

Cold Chest
This chest is only obtainable from the Snow Biome, you have to break the ice first with an Axe, then you can open the chest.

- • Snowball: This weapon can shoot enemies very fast. It applies the frozen effect on enemies.
